Terms & Conditions for Pelago's JR EAST Bonus KF miles Campaign

1. This promotion ("Promotion") is organised by Encounters Pte Ltd (“Pelago”), where all customers of Pelago (“Pelago Customer”) may be eligible to earn upto 1,000 KrisFlyer Bonus Miles (“Bonus Miles”) for their JR East Pass 5 Days Unlimited (Tohoku, Nagano and Niigata) ticket booked on Pelago.com

2. This Promotion commences on 01 September 2024, 0000hrs (GMT+8) and ends on 30 November 2024, 2359hrs (GMT+8) ("Promotional Period").

3. To participate:-

(i) The Pelago Customer is required to purchase the JR East Pass 5 Days Unlimited (Tohoku, Nagano and Niigata) ticket on a single booking on Pelago.com during the Promotional Period;

(ii) If the Pelago customer purchases the JR East Pass 5 Days Unlimited (Tohoku, Nagano and Niigata) product, they are eligible to earn 800 bonus KrisFlyer miles. If the Pelago customer purchases the JR East Pass 5 Days Unlimited (Tohoku, Nagano and Niigata) product and leaves a review for the product (on Pelago) thereafter, they are eligible to earn 1,000 bonus KrisFlyer miles.

(iii) For Eligible Bookings consisting of 'JR East Pass 5 Days Unlimited (Tohoku, Nagano and Niigata)' experiences, Pelago Customers have to complete their booked activity / pass by 28 February 2025;

(iv) Pelago shall credit the Bonus Miles towards the KrisFlyer account of the Pelago Customer by 31 March 2025.

4. Each Pelago Customer is only eligible for 1 reward in this Promotion regardless of the number of Eligible Bookings made during the Promotional Period. This Promotion is limited to the first 100 bookings.

5. This Promotion is in addition to existing KrisFlyer miles earn rate of 3 KrisFlyer miles for every SGD 1 (or equivalent) spent on bookings made and completed through Pelago (“Base Miles”).

6. For the avoidance of doubt, the Bonus Miles will be credited directly into the eligible customer's KrisFlyer membership account. Pelago shall not be obliged to notify and/or update the Pelago Customer on their eligibility after the booking has been made, before the Bonus Miles are credited.

7. The Pelago Customer must enter their own KrisFlyer membership number upon checkout. The Pelago Customer should ensure that their booking details should correspond with their KrisFlyer membership details for the Bonus Miles to be successfully credited to their KrisFlyer membership account.

8. The Bonus Miles will be credited only after the Pelago Customer has successfully completed their booked experience, and any cancelled bookings will be ineligible for the Promotion.

9. The Pelago Customer must be a valid KrisFlyer member at the time of booking, and must continue to maintain their membership at the time of completion of the booked experience. Non-KrisFlyer members can visit www.KrisFlyer.com to find out more about membership and how to enrol.

10. The Pelago Customer will not be allowed to transfer the Bonus Miles to another KrisFlyer account. Singapore Airlines shall automatically reverse any such transfer.

11. The Bonus Miles to be awarded under the Promotion is subject to the availability of Bonus Miles allocated for redemption. Pelago reserves the right to terminate the Promotion in the event Bonus Miles are no longer available for redemption.

13. All bookings are subject to Pelago's Terms of Use, and all collection, use and disclosure of personal data submitted for purchases made during this Promotion will be in accordance with Pelago's Privacy Policy.

14. Pelago and Singapore Airlines reserve the right to amend or withdraw any terms and conditions of this Promotion, and/or terminate the Promotion, without any prior notice at their sole and absolute discretion.

15. The terms and conditions of this Promotion shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
